Locations for a trip are not difficult decisions. Responsible for the first charter flight headed for Antarctica becoming a possibility in February 13, 1877 was a businessman and brainstormer who did not disregard this notion. As he was looking at a map one morning, this active 33 year old electronics executive thought to himself why could a regular plane not accomplish a trip to Antarctica that returns on the same day.
Probably around November of 1976 was when he found out that was among the few developed countries that can provide for such a flight to take place and so he called the premier flag carrier and asked that it charter a 707. A joke is what they considered the request to be at first. Besides not being able to abide by such a request the carrier was also worrying about how financially benefiting this plan could be. After some time he was able to convince the charter manager due to his dedication and seriousness. Learn more on the topic of Antarctica Cruises.
